YAY I FINALLY GOT IT!!
It is a curious thing It is a curious thing, the death of a loved one. We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things.

Luckily for us it was a beautiful clear sunny day… Could see for miles! Click Photos for larger views Photos by Natalie Bernazzani © via flickr

God’s Garden God looked around His garden And found an empty place He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face He put His arms around you And lifted you to rest God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered “Peace Be Thine.” It breaks our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. RIP Nonna x

God’s Garden

God looked around His garden
And found an empty place
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face

He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best

He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered “Peace Be Thine.”

It breaks our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

WHSmith! I was just routing through my filofax when i came across my WHSmith clubcard, so i thought i’d give them a ring and see how many points I had as i’ve had it for donkey years. The lady on the phone told me that WHSmith have STOPPED their clubcard scheme and have replaced it with a new email based ‘Privilege Club’.  Aparently they stopped giving points in June 2008 and gave us clubcard holders until February 2009 to use up any points we already had. Well thanks for letting ME know!!! If you’re like me and shop there infrequently, you may not know that you have been effected by this shocking news!! And now all those points I’ve been collecting since my younger child days are useless…gone! WHSmith, you have robbed me of my money…

Banksy Yesterday we ventured down to Covent Garden to see ‘Please Love Me’ - an unauthorised exhibition showing artwork of Banksy. First impressions.. Well, it felt weird and slightly odd to see Banksy’s work is a gallery type space.. We are viewing his work how he didn’t intended - At the end of the day he is a street artist after all. I guess it’s the fact that the work on show has been removed from a public space.. from off the streets and then placed in a gallery with the possibility of it being sold. Isn’t this something that all street artists are against? So, With this being an unauthorised exhibition, would Banksy approve? I dunno…. but as someone who has yet to have a chance to see genuine examples of Banksy’s work… then i guess I’m grateful to this exhibition. Saying that, I would have liked to have seen these pieces of work in the context of which they were created in… in the streets. ps. I still want to go up to his home town in Bristol to see his official exhibition… Who wants to take me? To see the full set of my photos on Flickr click here Photos by Natalie Bernazzani ©
